Leslie and Jeremy Kerr Leslie and Jeremy Kerr bring together the best of two worlds: Leslie, an artist and painter, hails from Ohio; while Jeremy, a commercial photographer, comes from Northampton, England, a continent away. Their chance meeting occurred in the United States while each was pursuing a degree from the Cleveland Institute of Art. The result was a unique partnership marital and professional with their photography studio located in London. Leslie and Jeremy appreciate many of the same things, including a love of natural history and garden photography. Their dreamlike floral studies employ experimental techniques with film and Polaroid film stocks. The Kerr's 15-year-old commercial photography studio specializes in still-life, food and product photography for corporate use. They use large format cameras almost exclusively. Both Leslie and Jeremy point to Impressionist art, Japanese painting and wood block prints as being important artistic influences. They name the painter Julian Stanczak, the sculptor C.E.Van Duzer and the goldsmith John Paul Miller as valued teachers they have met along their artistic journeys.
