Noya Huynh

View Noya Huynh's Art Prints

Noya Huynh was born in the seaside town of Qui-Nhon, Vietnam. At age six her family moved to Hentfordshire in southern England. Here Noya spent her formative years learning English and enjoying sports and art "much more than academics." Noya recalls she was "always drawing." With encouragement from her art teacher she began on her path toward a career in art and "has never looked back." Because of its excellent reputation for drawing and design, Noya chose Winchester School of Art to study textiles and fashion.

Noya points to nature as her greatest influence, specifically the colors and textures of flowers and fruits. "I am inspired by travel, by oriental arts, fabrics and especially the food! I love cooking and producing simple, well-prepared dishes qualities I try to bring to my work."

Variety is key to Noya's art in terms of media, technique and style. She uses inks, emulsion, acrylics, oil paints, printing inks and hand made papers to create her silkscreen prints, monoprints and collages.

Noya presently lives in London where she maintains a studio. She exhibits and sells her work at international fashion and furnishing trade shows.
