Kamy Deljou was born in Shiraz, Iran, and began his art training there. At Pahlavy University he entered a demanding modern art program and increased his mastery of acrylics, pastels, oil inlays and printmaking.
Kamy arrived in the United States in 1979 and established himself at Graphique Du Jour studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout his career Kamy has developed innovative and original techniques combining ink, acrylic, and oil rendering bold, elegant shapes and colors, rich in texture and patterns.
Some of the techniques are so original, Kamy has patented the processes.
Currently Kamy directs new artists in painting and printmaking, while still producing his own work. In the last ten years he has traveled and exhibited in the U.S. and around the world.
